During an era of dwindling faith in God, the earth is besieged by demons. The task of combating them falls upon the "Sky Police Avalon" and "Beautiful Angel Palestrina," but they receive unexpected aid from two schoolmates. Genji Segami, a playful troublemaker, and Mizuki Konagawa, a determined student council leader, have opposing perspectives on what constitutes justice.
